Here is an amazing paradize postcard from Tokelau!

       Tokelau is an island country and dependent territory of New Zealand in the southern Pacific Ocean. It consists of three tropical coral atolls (Atafu, Nukunonu and Fakaofo), with a combined land area of 10 km2 and a population of approximately 1,500 people. Its capital rotates yearly between the three atolls. Tokelau lies north of the Samoan Islands, Swains Island being the nearest, east of Tuvalu, south of the Phoenix Islands, southwest of the more distant Line Islands, and northwest of the Cook Islands. Until 1976, the official name was Tokelau Islands.
       With the fourth smallest population of any sovereign state or dependency on Earth, Tokelau is a leader in renewable energy, being the first 100% solar powered nation in the world. Tokelau is a free and democratic nation with elections every three years. All run as independents; there are no political parties in Tokelau.
       The most spoken language in Tokelau is Tokelauan, at 93.5% According to the 2016 Tokelau Census, Tokelau has a de jure usually resident population of 1,499 people. The nationals of Tokelau are called Tokelauans, and the major ethnic group is Polynesian.

       Tristan da Cunha colloquially Tristan, is both a remote group of volcanic islands in the south Atlantic Ocean and the main island of that group. It is the most remote inhabited archipelago in the world, 2,000 kilometres  from the nearest inhabited land, Saint Helena, and 2,400 kilometres from the nearest continental land, South Africa. It is 3,360 kilometres  from South America. The territory consists of the main island, Tristan da Cunha, which has a north–south length of 11.27 kilometres  and an area of 98 square kilometres, and the smaller, uninhabited Nightingale Islands and the wildlife reserves of Inaccessible and Gough islands. As of January 2017, the main island has 262 permanent inhabitants. The other islands are uninhabited, except for the personnel of a weather station on Gough Island.
       Tristan da Cunha is part of the British overseas territory of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha. This includes Saint Helena and near-equatorial Ascension Island, some 3,730 kilometres to the north of Tristan.
       Tristan da Cunha recorded a population of 293 in the March 2016 census. The only settlement is Edinburgh of the Seven Seas (known locally as "The Settlement").

Welcome to colorful multi-view incoming postcard from Uganda!

       officially the Republic of Uganda, is a landlocked country in East Africa. It is bordered to the east by Kenya, to the north by South Sudan, to the west by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to the south-west by Rwanda, and to the south by Tanzania. The southern part of the country includes a substantial portion of Lake Victoria, shared with Kenya and Tanzania. Uganda is in the African Great Lakes region. Uganda also lies within the Nile basin, and has a varied but generally a modified equatorial climate.
       Uganda takes its name from the Buganda kingdom, which encompasses a large portion of the south of the country, including the capital Kampala. The people of Uganda were hunter-gatherers until 1,700 to 2,300 years ago, when Bantu-speaking populations migrated to the southern parts of the country.
       The official languages are English and Swahili, although "any other language may be used as a medium of instruction in schools or other educational institutions or for legislative, administrative or judicial purposes as may be prescribed by law".  Luganda, a central language, is widely spoken across the country, and several other languages are also spoken including Runyoro, Runyankole, Rukiga, and Luo.

Got this super cute doggie postcard from -  Germany!

It was sent to me from the 8th International Postcrossing Meeting in Bielefeld during 26th to 29th of October 2017!
 
       Bielefeld  is a city in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe Region in the north-east of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. With a population of 336,352, it is also the most populous city in the Regierungsbezirk Detmold.
       Bielefeld is home to a significant number of internationally operating companies, including Dr. Oetker, Gildemeister and Schüco. It has a university and several Fachhochschulen. Bielefeld is also famous for the Bethel Institution, and for the Bielefeld Conspiracy, which satirises conspiracy theories by claiming that Bielefeld does not exist. This concept has been used in the town's marketing and alluded to by Chancellor Angela Merkel.

       Burkina Faso is a landlocked country in West Africa. It covers an area of around 274,200 square kilometres and is surrounded by six countries: Mali to the north; Niger to the east; Benin to the southeast; Togo and Ghana to the south; and Ivory Coast to the southwest. Its capital is Ouagadougou. In 2014 its population was estimated at just over 17.3 million. Burkina Faso is a francophone country, with French as an official language of government and business. Formerly called the Republic of Upper Volta, the country was renamed "Burkina Faso" on 4 August 1984 by then-President Thomas Sankara. The citizens of Burkina Faso are known as Burkinabé.
       It is made up of two major types of countryside. The larger part of the country is covered by a peneplain, which forms a gently undulating landscape with, in some areas, a few isolated hills, the last vestiges of a Precambrian massif. The southwest of the country, on the other hand, forms a sandstone massif, where the highest peak, Ténakourou, is found at an elevation of 749 meters.

Here is a rare and very beautiful incoming postcard from São Tomé and Príncipe!

       officially the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, is a Portuguese-speaking island nation in the Gulf of Guinea, off the western equatorial coast of Central Africa. It consists of two archipelagos around the two main islands: São Tomé and Príncipe, located about 140 kilometres apart and about 250 and 225 kilometres respectively, off the northwestern coast of Gabon.
       With a population of 199,910 (2016 Census), São Tomé and Príncipe is the second-smallest African country after Seychelles, as well as the smallest Portuguese-speaking country. Its people are predominantly of African and mestiço descent, with most practising Roman Catholicism. The legacy of Portuguese rule is also visible in the country's culture, customs, and music, which fuse European and African influences.
       Portuguese is the official and the de facto national language of São Tomé and Príncipe, with about 98.4% speaking it in the country, a significant share of it as their native language, and it has been spoken in the islands since the end of the 15th century. Restructured variants of Portuguese or Portuguese creoles are also spoken: Forro, a creole language (36.2%), Cape Verdean Creole (8.5%), Angolar (6.6%) and Principense (1%). French (6.8%) and English (4.9%) are foreign languages taught in schools.

       Solomon Islands is a sovereign country consisting of six major islands and over 900 smaller islands in Oceania lying to the east of Papua New Guinea and northwest of Vanuatu and covering a land area of 28,400 square kilometres. The country's capital, Honiara, is located on the island of Guadalcanal. The country takes its name from the Solomon Islands archipelago, which is a collection of Melanesian islands that also includes the North Solomon Islands (part of Papua New Guinea), but excludes outlying islands, such as Rennell and Bellona, and the Santa Cruz Islands.
       As of 2016, there were 599,419 people in Solomon Islands.
      The majority of Solomon Islanders are ethnically Melanesian (94.5%). Polynesian (3%) and Micronesian (1.2%) are the two other significant groups. There are a few thousand ethnic Chinese.
       While English is the official language, only 1–2% of the population speak English. The lingua franca is Solomons Pijin, which is related to the Tok Pisin of Papua New Guinea, but which has no official status.

        officially the People's Republic of Bangladesh (গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ Gaṇaprajātantrī Bāṃlādēśa), is a country in South Asia. It shares land borders with India and Myanmar (Burma). Nepal, Bhutan and China are located near Bangladesh but do not share a border with it. The country's maritime territory in the Bay of Bengal is roughly equal to the size of its land area. Bangladesh is the world's eighth most populous country. Dhaka is its capital and largest city, followed by Chittagong, which has the country's largest port.
       Bangladesh forms the largest and easternmost part of the Bengal region. Bangladeshis include people from a range of ethnic groups and religions. Bengalis, who speak the official Bengali language, make up 98% of the population.
       Estimates of the Bangladeshi population vary, but 2016 UN data suggests 163 million. More than 98 percent of Bangladeshi Bengalis speak Bangla as their native language.

       officially the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao: ສາທາລະນະລັດ ປະຊາທິປະໄຕ ປະຊາຊົນລາວ, Sathalanalat Paxathipatai Paxaxon Lao), commonly referred to by its colloquial name of Muang Lao (Lao: ເມືອງລາວ, Muang Lao), is a landlocked country in the heart of the Indochinese peninsula of Mainland Southeast Asia, bordered by Myanmar (Burma) and China to the northwest, Vietnam to the east, Cambodia to the southwest and Thailand to the west and southwest.
       Its thickly forested landscape consists mostly of rugged mountains, the highest of which is Phou Bia at 2,818 metres with some plains and plateaus.
       Laos' population was estimated at 6.8 million in 2016, dispersed unevenly across the country. Most people live in valleys of the Mekong River and its tributaries. Vientiane prefecture, the capital and largest city, had about 740,010 residents in 2008. The country's population density was 27/km2
       The official and dominant language is Lao, a tonal language of the Tai linguistic group. However, only slightly more than half of the population can speak Lao.

       officially the Republic of Slovenia (Republika Slovenija) is a nation state located in the southern Central Europe. The country is located at the crossroads of main European cultural and trade routes. It is bordered by Italy to the west, Austria to the north, Hungary to the northeast, Croatia to the south and southeast, and the Adriatic Sea to the southwest. It covers 20,273 square kilometers and has a population of 2.06 million. It is a parliamentary republic and a member of the United Nations, European Union. The capital and largest city is Ljubljana.
       The territory is mostly mountainous with a mainly continental climate, with the exception of the Slovene Littoral that has a sub-Mediterranean climate and the northwest that has an Alpine climate. Additionally, the Dinaric Alps and the Pannonian Plain meet on the territory of Slovenia. The country, marked by a significant biological diversity, is one of the most water-rich in Europe, with a dense river network, a rich aquifer system, and significant karst underground watercourses. Over half of the territory is covered by forest.
       The official language in Slovenia is Slovene, which is a member of the South Slavic language group.

       This wonderful winter white postcard from Russian Post boxes series is "Postcard from winter" (Открытка из зимы, ящик Почты России).
       Russian Post released it especially for the event called "the Snowmen on the Flacon", which took place in Moscow on 18-20 December. For three days the visitors of the design factory "Flacon" were creating unusual and original snowmen out of the snow and not only.
       It was allowed to get a postcard free if you made a special picture and uploaded it in social sites with special hashtags and show then to special person in Flacon.
 
Colletors call this postcard shortly - "Snowman" (Снеговик)!
 
Period: from 18 to 20 December of 2015 year.

       Let me introduce postcard from Russian Post boxes series - "Postcard 2016"  (Открытка 2016, ящик Почты России).
       Within the Year of Movie Russian Post opened its office on the 27-th festival "Kinotavr" in Sochi. From 6 to 13 June, all the participants and guests of the event could take the advantage of the "Moviepost" by sending friends an exclusive postcard about the festival, or a letter in an envelope with the emblem of the "Kinotavr". It was absolutely free, but only allowed to send postcard in envelop.
 
       Information about Kinotavr: Russian movie festival "Kinotavr", one of the most popular film festivals in our country, traditionally held in Sochi for several years. It takes place in early June and lasts a week. The festival was first organized in 1989 at the initiative of producer Mark Rudinstein and actor Oleg Yankovsky. The main task of "Kinotavr" designated by the organizers,  is presentation of the latest films, support of creative searches of artists and young filmmakers, promotion of Russian cinema, increasing the credibility of cinema and its importance in society and, as a consequence, the real impact on the cinema.
 
We call this postcard - "Kinotavr" (Кинотавр)!
